How to make the date criteria dynamic?

Hi,

I have below formula that count the headcount for specific month "Aug 2023), what I need to do is adjusting the date (in blue font) to be dynamic that depends on the selected month from control filter:

SUM (IF(employee_type='Regular' AND report_month=8 AND report_year='2023',1,0))

Is there any way I can do that?
