Creating a 2 Day Lag in Looker Chart

I am trying to create a 2 day lagged report because my data is not complete until 2 days after the work date. For example, my chart today shows data through 3/22/2021. However, 3/21 and 3/22 are not complete - which skews the charts. I want to only have the chart showing through 3/20. Is there a way to automate so the chart always shows data that is two days old. The default pulls in the most recent day which as I mentioned is not complete and skews the data.

How to count only yes values from a yesno variable

Hi, I am a total newbie and I have one very basic question. I need to calculate the rate of people that made a purchase. There is a variable for this with yes/no values. I need to divide only the count of “yes” of the latter variable by the total number of visitors (which I have). The question is, how can I get the count of “Yes” only from the purchase variable? What would be sort of an alternative of countif in Looker? I’ve tried conditional sum, but it does not work.

Pivot Table Calculation

I am trying to convert a date into a week day name, and have it displayed underneath the full date in the visualization.For example, my data shows dates across the top (3/1/2021, 3/2/2021, etc). Underneath the dates I would like to display the day of the week.I did a table calculation to convert the date into a day name using the following:coalesce( index( list("Monday", "Tuesday", "Wednesday", "Thursday", "Friday", "Saturday", "Sunday"), mod(diff_days(date(2021,03,01), ${cases_per_hour_kpi.work_dt}) + 1, 7) ) , "Sunday")However, when I try to Pivot the Table calculation, it shows up in each row and column. I just want to show Monday underneath the date - currently it shows Monday next to each row of date in the entire column.Any ideas?

Hello!My username was automatically created and now it contains my first name and surname plus some strange number at the end. Is it possible to change it? How?I tried to change it on my user profile settings, but I couldn’t realise how. 😕

Metric Selector Parameter as column

I would like to create a list of metrics as a dimension so I can create the following. I would then need to figure out how to create the second columns that does the correct aggregations. all the documentation I have found only shows the dimension as filter field only when used in a parameter, but I need it in the data pane. Looker Dashboard - Filters: Switch between monthly, weekly, daily views

Hello Community,I am creating a looker dashboard, based on the -let’s say- last 5 days with a barchart of certain metrics per day, and would like to add a filter on the top of the dashboard to show me they last 5 weeks (or last 5 month etc.)Is that possible to switch easily between days, month etc.?Basically I would like to switch between daily charts to aggregated weekly and monthly views with only a click for the Enduser. Looker Business Analyst certification!

Hi All, I would appreciate any help in my Looker BA Certification journey. I have been trying to interview and a lot of the places that I would LOVE to work at use Looker. I have been trying to get enough experience to get certified but I have not been able to pass the certification with just the free training materials Are there any other resources out there that might help me prepare? Looker’s recent slowness

Has anyone else noticed Looker’s slowness recently? I feel I used to encounter Looker being slow maybe once a week, usually in the evening. But as of recently, there are now periods of slowness throughout every single business day of the week. My internet’s fine (everything other website loads lightning fast), it’s definitely just Looker. It’ll just sit there spinning for quite a long time during all scenarios:when I’m loading on a simple lookml file or just reloading a dashboard page (it’s not the dashboard itself, but the actual page itself just sits there blank)

Forecasting month volume by days of the week

I am trying to forecast my monthly case volume by using month to date actuals, by day, as the predictor. My daily volume fluctuates dramatically - so if I have 5 Fridays in a month vs 4 Fridays my volume can be very different. I have created a custom dimension to convert Work Date (DD-MM-YY) information into Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun.Now I am trying to forecast the remaining days of the month volume based on the actuals that have come in by day so far in the month. How do I create a forecasted day for each day of the week, and then tie it into how many of those days are remaining in the month?
