How to extract HH:MM from date_time stamp?

Hi Y'all.I'm having a heck of a time trying to show just hours and minutes based off a date_time stamp. Any ideas on how to do this? Right now I have 2023-05-06 10:00:00 for example and I just want to show 10:00. Thanks!

Cannot use EXTRACT() Function

Can anyone help me understand why when I try to create a custom dimension I cannot use the EXTRACT() function? There are other functions that I thought would work like DATE() as well, but for some reason these functions aren't accepted. Thanks!
