Hi Dawid, yes, the gap of zeros/missing is causing the model to see the
trend as going from say 120, 100, 0, 0, 0, 0. So it takes that decline
and predicts it. I just had the same example.I think the algorithm is a
bit ‘dumb’ in that sense.

If your ‘Compare to Entire Population’ section, point 4: wouldn’t this
be double counting? The case statement will select where the brand_name
AND n = 1. But if it is one or the other, or neither, then it will all
flow into ‘Total of Population’?
