Period over Period and YTD/MTD

Hi,

I’m working on a few period over period comparisons at a daily level data compared to last months data.
Currently, I’m just plotting the “date - price” and using “offset” to get the data from past 30 days ago but that’s not correct as months have different number of days.

(I also hide the last 30 rows so one can only see this months data but the order is always reverse as you can see in image for “offset” to work properly)

How can I get the exact last months date to be compared and hopefully order them from 1-31 days?

Along with this - if we can add a monthly MTD cumulative line on top of it without interrupting existing look, it would be great.

We wrote a very detailed tutorial to achieve what you want with a dynamic timeframe (comparing months, weeks, days, years) and also a “to date” parameter.
