Default Time Format (12 hour clock)

Iโ€™m trying to find a way to have all time dimensions be on a 12 hour clock (i.e seeing 8:00 PM instead of 20:00). It is not how we look at time in our business and have had multiple requests to change all times to โ€œhumanโ€ readable times.

Any thoughts as to the best solution for this? I couldnโ€™t find a setting in the Admin page that does that across the whole instance.

Hi Lorena,
I think, in your visualisations, you can add %I%p to your field to format it as olde-worlde time.
Sadly, I donโ€™t think Looker currently has the functionality to create a named_timeframe, as is possible with named_value_format which would be handy.

Hope this helps!

How funny that despite working with AM/PM for 15 years I still think 20:00 is the human-readable format ๐Ÿ™‚
