Hi Looker Community,
So I’m trying to build more and more Aggregate Awareness tables for my company, and I’m seeing that these AA tables are getting spread throughout the different `model` files (where the different “Explores” are defined).
My goal is to try and put all these AA tables into a more centralized place. Perhaps, even integrate them all into our data pipeline, using the Looker API? (Our team tries to consolidate as much automation into our backend as possible.)
But, I couldn’t find anything in the API regarding Aggregate Awareness / PDTs.
Alternatively, any tips on how to organize/structure all these AA table-definitions?
After looking into it some more, I think the approach would be to create datagroups for these AA tables, and just trigger the datagroups using the API.
So, all good ?.
