Want to lead a new product to a global market? Reckon are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to do just that (AU/NZ)

As the Senior Data Analyst for our newest product, Reckon Insights , you will be at the centre of our data and analytics business and will work with cross-functional teams to design, build and deliver the company’s data vision and strategy.

The ideal candidate would have strong experience in LookML, but given that might be a tuff ask in Australia and New Zealand we are also happy to upskill if we find the right person. Being 100% remote is OK too, however you need to be based in AU or NZ because stand-ups on a US / EU timezone is not fun 

Ideally you’d have...

• A proven track record of designing, modelling, developing and implementing large scale analytical solutions with data warehouse, ETL and visualisation components.
• Seasoned in leading a team of Data Analysts / ETL developers for delivering solutions catering to multiple business problems across business operating domains.
• Experience in providing solution designs for data migration projects from an analytical perspective by data profiling the source data to fit into the target systems.
• Expert in requirements elicitation, user story definitions, data flow diagrams, design documentation, source to target data mapping preparations.
• Experience in creating data visualisations, representations and reports.
• Experience with Looker, PowerBI and Snowflake.
• Strong skillset for writing complex SQL queries.
• A clear understanding of the product development lifecycle for SaaS applications.
• Proactive and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment to deliver outcomes on a deadline.
• A demonstrated desire and ability to change the product and software development practices of those around you for the better.
• Working knowledge of Agile planning, documentation, scheduling techniques and tools.
• The ability to communicate clearly with managers, software engineers, non-technical people as well as partners and customers in the language appropriate to the situation.
• The ability to write clear and concise documentation.
