What we need you to do

• Requirements Gathering. Collaborate with both customers and teammates to identify key use cases and define associated requirements.
• Data Modeling. Design and build data models from raw data to star/snowflake schemas for use in data analytics and BI tools.
• Data Visualization. Design and develop compelling data visualizations along with helping to define the required supporting data architecture.
• Provide thought leadership, best practices, and standards required to design and implement scalable data analytics solutions. 

What you bring to Mashey

• Proficiency in reading and writing complex SQL
• Experience with cloud SQL databases (Snowflake, BigQuery and/or Redshift)
• Experience with dbt workflows, modeling, and testing
• Experience with data replication and data prep tools (e.g. Fivetran, Stitch, Meltano, Matillion)
• Experience in data visualization and dashboard design best practices. and implementation in Looker and/or Tableau
• An ability to translate business problems to technical solutions, exploring data and extracting valuable insights.
• Proven analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting expertise
• Ability to manage multiple clients concurrently

Bonus points

• Looker certification (LookML Developer or Delivery Verified)
• Experience in performance tuning of Looker or Tableau models, PDTs, and environments
• Experience presenting and training technical and business users
