Slalom New York City is hiring Looker experts for immediate start. 

Looking for 5+ years of experience in data analytics and visualization, and recent project work in Looker. The ideal candidate understands how to prepare, connect, and model data in LookML, design and develop visualizations/Explores, and can advise on Looker Action Hub.

If you can also set up necessary integrations to export data from Looker, can connect it to APIs and third party systems, or embed vizzes in web portals, you’re automatically a preferred candidate! But this portion is not essential to qualifying for the role.

What’s the salary range?

Depends on experience and seniority level… wide range and competitive with Big4 consultancies. Glassdoor.com has many self-reported numbers if you wish to explore Slalom there.

That’s why I asked for a range, not a concrete number. It is a good practice to advertise with a a salary range, so that potential candidates can look at offers that are of their interest also based on that. Not to mention it promotes inclusivity, rather than hiding behind “depending on experience” motto..

That’s fair, and not hiding. 110-160k is good general range for a starting base to think about. Not including bonus. Experience + a technical case study really drive the conversation, title and financial package.
