Best practices for scheduled reports to external stakeholders?

Hello,  We’re considering allowing our users to schedule report delivery to external stakeholders. We’d like to minimize the risk of mishaps such as: sending incorrect data, or PII data, or sending to the wrong recipient. Would anyone recommend or direct me to best practices along these lines?

Good subject, I suspect this to be one of those things that you have to take the risk on however we have turned off external emails but we do have a tool which exports data into gsheets.

We have a config which controls which content can be exported to which sheets (which are then shared with our external partners) in the hope it stops other partners data ending up elsewhere.
