LookVR doesn’t show error messages well at the moment. Ensure the user you are using with LookVR has credentials to see the look you are trying to view in VR. You can test this by sudoing as the user in Looker and opening the look in the native Looker UI.
It is also helpful to find find lookvr in steam and right click it and choose Properties > Local Files> Browse Local files and in the folder LookVR_Data there is a file called output_log.txt
