Why do I see a ridiculously high count of login events while looking at the System Activity event explore?

When a user logs in using OpenID auth (i.e. Okta, OneLogin, etc.), Looker will authenticate said user once a minute to keep that user logged in. Each authentication event will counted as a login in system activity, which is why a given user might appear to have logged in hundreds of times on a single day.
