value_format not coming through in explore

The Problem

User has added value_format to their field which is correct but no changes on the explore side

A Solution

They most likely have not set the type of their dimension at all or have not set it to be numeric. Make sure they have defined type: number for that field as per our docs;

To apply Excel-style formatting to measures via value_format, make sure the measure is numeric and not of type: string.
