Check that the cron string for the connection is valid. If it is incorrect, then the reaper and regenerator will not run on scheduled intervals, and the schema will fill up with manually run PDT builds.
This will appear in the logs as reap connection [connection name] caught exception Bad Vixie style specification [erroring part of cron string]
