If you aren't able to open up your ports for security purposes, you can clone the repo here: https://github.com/looker-open-source, and more specifically, you'll need the bundle.js and manifest.lkml in a project somewhere. You'll need to keep in mind that this makes updates a manual process. Also, ports can be closed to the open internet but our endpoints can still be whitelisted so you should see if that method works first before deciding to go down the cloning repo route.
