THIS COULD HAPPEN IF:
1. When you try to upgrade Looker to newer version and than try to go back to old one
There is a version check between the jar and the internal database, If the jar is a later version, it runs migrations on the database to bring it up to the latest version, this involves changing the schema of the internal database, once the internal database is brought up to the newer version it cannot work with older jar's.
WHAT WE CAN DO TO FIX:
- bring the broken instance onto the looker jar version that IT WAS UPDATED TOO
- restore the environment from backup to before any changes were made.
