There isn’t currently a way to filter on a dashboard by clicking on a field in one of the visualizations. There is a feature request for this.
There is a pretty nice workaround for this where we can achieve something very similar using a link.
To do this, the first step is to add a filter onto the dashboard for the field that you would like to dynamically filter on. Give the default "any value".
Next, add in a link parameter to the field in the LookML and use this as the link: /dashboard/<dashboard_id>?<dashboard_filter_name>={{ value }}
