Can we sync permissions and groups from Google Auth?

No. Unlike other external authentication systems we support, we don't match any groups from Google Auth when bringing users into Looker.

You can make sure that each user lands in a single default role, but then you will still have to manually assign permissions and groups to users.

Hi @sam8 is this functionality on the roadmap, or is there a technical limitation that prevents it?

We’re using looker with a rather large team and manually tracking users and their associated permissions is difficult, especially considering we already have organisational level role groups set up within google auth itself.
