By default, case_sensitivity is on and filters are case sensitive. You can change this using the case_sensitive parameter at the model, explore, or field level. However, some dialects do not support this parameter. List of dialects here.

The Looker documentation outlines how to use the parameter depending on the context in which you want it to apply. You can choose for it to apply model-wide, or restrict it to an explore or a field.
