If you're using an ID, you may want to use a more human-friendly suggestion for that ID for users to select.
Unfortunately, we currently can't alias filter suggestions without parameters
But as a workaround, you might suggest creating a concatenated field that uses the human-friendly field you want to suggest and the ID, and then uses a contains clause in the filter instead of =
