Automate notifications for failed scheduled reports

Hi, I run a number of failed scheduled reports and I am looking to automate the process of notifying the owner(s) if there are any failures. Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to achieve this please?

I would start with Looker’s built in scheduler features if you haven’t already. You can use that to schedule full dashboards or individual looks.

Scheduling looks allows for better exception management like you’re after because there is an option in the advanced options pane of the scheduler to only send the email out if there are results.

So if your look only shows failed reports, it would only send when reports failed.
