'To-Day' Filters While Comparing PoP

I am trying to create a dashboard where the user can select a date, and the single-value tiles would then show the MTD and YTD data up to that selected date.

Along with this, I would like to show some sort of Period-Over-Period comparison (MoM and YoY) based on that same selected date.

Does anyone know how I can go about this?

Currently, I have the MTD and YTD tiles while showing the Period-Over-Period analysis. Only problem is that I can not apply a filter to these that works. These are static and default to the previous day.
