Suck in validation loop

I click "validate LookML", get the spinning icon that looks like its validating errors, then it quickly stops stops and says "Errors out of date. Click the test button to validate your most recently saved LookML.” So I click validate again and again get “Errors out of date”.

I'm in a loop. I logged out and back in, I hard reset my browser, I used both Firefox and Chrome, I tried on two different branches, I tried turning on legacy runtime, no dice.

This is also happening on our instance, and when I disable the requirement for Validate LookML (allowing for errors to push to remote), I get an error that I am unable to push changes. In addition, we keep having 502/503/504 errors when the Validate LookML circle is spinning and spinning.

Is there something going on affecting Looker-hosted instances?
