Query execution failed: - Function not found: TRUNCATE

I am trying to execute the Dynamic tiers from the documentation.

How every when i used the function TRUNCATE i am getting error as below.

There is no change in the parameter or dimension that created in the link above. 

i have checked in GBQ the function is there.
