Parameter to select set of metrics or do a calculation on multiple dimensions

I have a set of metrics that I want to visualise on a dashboard or explore

I would like to have some way of either selecting the metrics as they are, or choosing to show them normalised (all divided by the same dimension for example.

What is the best way of doing this?

Can I create a set of measures which calculate the normalised values and all have a common prefex e.g nor_

Then create a parameter which selects either ‘normal’ or ‘not normalised’. Then create a dimension with a case when statement, which says that measures containing ‘nor_’ should be used depending on whether normal’ or ‘not normalised’ in the parameter was selected

Or is there a more efficient way to do a blanket calculation on all metrics on a dashboard?
