NDTs and first day of the month

I have an issue for an NDT I created. I have a filter in its creation which states as follows:

      filters: {
        field: some_view.some_dimension
        value: "this month"
      }
 

What it happens is, on every first day of the month, I cannot see the full table for the last month (and I get it, it’s supposed to be like it. I suppose that using liquid/sql would fix this behavior, so in every single first day of the month, it takes the last month instead.

Can you help me on how to do it?
