Liquid date filter

Hello everyone,

I am trying to build a chart that shows two values : the number of views of a publisher’s videos and the # of posts during a given period of time, just like this : 

I built a filter that filter by the activity of a video : it will return the number of views all of our videos made during May 22 for instance.

However, i would like to have on the same chart the number of videos posted in may (so in that case it would reference another type of time period : publication_date). 

So I have two dates dimensions : activity and published. I’d like to have only one global filter for the user.

How can I build a filtered measure for the # posts that would listen to the date range i chose in activity and apply published to the # of post instead ?
