How to set a relative date as the default date for a date filter parameter?

How to set default value for a date filter parameter which is like ‘3 months before todays date’ and also give customer the flexibility to choose their own date?

Currently date filter parameters only allow the option to select a single date as default date or set the user attribute?

Can anyone help please?

Haven’t tested it but perhaps “3 months ago for 1 day” would work?

date parameter filter is just letting me choose a date on a calendar. It is not accepting any text.

+1 here - when the filter is defined as field, we have all sorts of choices in a pulldown menu (including Today).  But when it’s defined as a parameter, we have to pick a date.  I tried defining a default in the parameter definition (default = “today”), but the date selection in the filter definition on the dashboard overrides it.  How can I get the date to default to today?
