How can I print out a string if a date listed is within a specific range?

I want to print out “June 2022” if the date range is like “2022-06%”, but apparently you cannot use ‘like’ with dates. Ideally, I will also have one for June 2021, and list the others as “other”. Is there anyway I can put this in LookML, or in Explore?
