Display only values with the latest date by State

My data is formatted like so:

State, weather, dt

California, sunny, 9/23/21

California, rainy, 2/22/20

California, foggy, 1/16/19

How can I only display the entire record with the latest date? In this case, after selecting Run, 

California, sunny, 9/23/21 is displayed. 

There are many states and weathers, but only 1 record per each state and day.
