'Datagroup Maintenance Schedule' vs. 'interval_trigger'

Hi Looker Community,

Can someone tell me what is the difference between ‘Datagroup Maintenance Schedule’ in the connection setting and ‘interval_trigger’ parameter within a datagroup?

Hello,

Datagroup maintenance schedule is an instance wide setting : it tells the frequency at which the Looker instance will check all datagroups triggers (By default every 5 minutes).

cf: https://docs.looker.com/setup-and-management/connecting-to-db#pdt_maintenance_schedule

Intervall_trigger is simply a frequency setup to rebuild a specific PDT. For example if a PDT has an intervall_trigger of 3 hours, it means “rebuild this table every 3 hours”
