Create custom measure that shows future expected sales

Hi, I am very new to Looker and was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction.

I need to create a measure that will calculate future expected sales based on the end date that is selected in a date range.

So if someone selects Dec 1st 2021 to Dec 31st, 2022 then the measure would return all expected sales from Jan 1st on.
