Converting epoch date to yyyymmdd dimension for exporting purposes

For external reporting purposes I need to convert the epoch date to a yyyymmdd format.

I used the liquid logic for this, but when I schedule a csv for reporting the dates return to the epoch format. I have tried a few things, but the export generates the same every time.

The other way I can think of is to write a whole lot of new dimensions purely for creating a string. This seems like a lot of unnecessary code. Is there a simple way to do this?

The same applies to the time, which should be reported as hhmm.
