Allow Liquid functions in parameters

How flabbergasted I was when I found out I can’t do the following:

{% parameter view.name | replace: "sth", "sth2" %}

When I have an unquoted parameter that selects a column “first_day_of_week”, I wanted to use it to dynamically select “last_day_of_week” or month, quarter, year.  I can see some benefits in having the ability to use liquid functions with parameter values
