Also it is worth noting that embedded dashboards hit production so when using this on a LookML dashboard, your changes will not be reflected until you push.

I discussed with @ian the issue but maybe it’s worth mentioning here.

Since the 3.46 update those 3 parameters do not pass LookML validation.

I removed them completely.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention @Cyril, I have updated the article accordingly. These parameters have been deprecated with the new dashboard styling and layout as they are no longer relevant.

Is there any reason why the options here are different when clicking Edit Embed Settings?

Hey @WillCottrell

The screenshot of the settings from the original post were taken in Looker version 3.38. This is when embed settings were first introduced and were still in Beta.

The settings have changed since then and the settings you’re seeing are definitely up to date!

Thanks @paola, is there no option to apply a corner radius or shadowing to looks within an embedded dashboard then?

@WillCottrell That is correct. Those options were available prior to version 3.46

I retired this article. The content can be found in technical documentation for user-defined dashboards and for LookML dashboards.
