Attaching data to Looker objects

Hello!

Just getting started with Looker.  So far the experience has been great!

In our first use cases, we'll be interacting with Looker primarily via the API to support interfaces in our native application.  I am wondering what mechanisms there are for attaching arbitrary data to Looks, Dashboards, and folders (along the lines of tags which are associated with Explores).

Information which might then me surfacable via the API to be used in the native app.

Any pointers much appreciated.
