Hello! Please help a beginner! I have a column of types (dimension) and a correspondent count (measure), grouped by date:I would like to calculate the % of each type related to the date subtotal. As you can see, I can do this in MS Excel, but I wish to learn how to do this in Looker. Thanks!
I'm using a JS script as a plugin for QCP calculator to do some stuff after every change in Quote Edit Lines.Quote Edit LinesNow I need to run the part of the script only when user presses Calculate or Save button. The only way I see is to somehow find out in the script, what was the reason of this script to run (did user press Calculate or Save button or did he edit any field so the script started). Script functions have 3 params: quoteLineModels, quoteModel, conn; I've investigated the difference between these objects when user pressed Calculate button and when user edited any field not changing the value (e.g. from 150 to 150) and found no differenceCalculate ImmediatelyUnchecking Calculate Immediately checkbox in CPQ package settings is not a solution - I need this checkbox for other calculations, not for the script
I want to show revenue of 1. price discounted items, 2. package discounted items, and 3. all discounted items.1 and 2 are the only types of discounts we have, so I split the discount revenue (a dimension we have) by pivoting over discount type. However, I want to also add a bar with the total discount. Is there a way to do this? Now I seem to always have to pivot the total discount as well. Can I unpivot one dimension?
When I choose Size columns to fit for a table it would show whole names according to the size of the screen before. But now, the visual has changed and I cannot read column names (In below picture) Is there a way to solve this problem other than arranging all columns manually? Because when I do this if the screen size changes (i.e. connecting to a big screen with HDMI) the table length stays short for the screen.
Hello,Is there any difference between Left Join and Left Outer Join in LookerML?I'm a completely noob and I'm starting learning 😇So, now I'm attending a training on Udemy, and the instructor mentioned that in LookerML, there are differences between those two lefts joins. But as far as I know, the outer is optional and it doesn't affects the query.https://stackoverflow.com/questions/406294/left-join-vs-left-outer-join-in-sql-server Thank you all for your help 😄
I am unable to find a way to unselect a reply as the accepted answer.Weather it be by mistake or a realization the accepted answer might change and there should be a way to do this. Is there currently a method to change the accepted answer? If so where is this option located?
