Hi Roslinepeter.
Looker instances works on cloud 100% , so it is not a looker issue related.
BUT you can try testing the office with a new windows user account and check if it works.
You should also do a backup in case your storage device is not working properly.
There is also a “safe” flag to disable third party add ons in MS Office:
