Metric Selector Parameter as column

I would like to create a list of metrics as a dimension so I can create the following. I would then need to figure out how to create the second columns that does the correct aggregations. all the documentation I have found only shows the dimension as filter field only when used in a parameter, but I need it in the data pane.

Hello,

Maybe, you can try to do the following,

From your explore,

1/ bring the metrics you want to expose

2/ Add a dummy custom field that you can name “value”

3/In your table settings, switch on the “transpose” option

You’ll get something like this:

Is it what you are looking for?

@antho - yes exactly what I want. Thanks for the response, will mark correct if I can get the solution to work 🙂

The custom field is it a measure or dimension

@antho do you know if you can add a second column that would do LY YTD so you could then do a table calc comparison?

It is a Custom Dimension because transpose requires at least 1 dimension to work 😉
