Looker permissions

We are cleaning up our team’s looker permissions, and in the process bumped some folks down from Analyst to Viewer. However, now they are having trouble accessing saved looks that they once had access to...is there a way to solve this without bumping them back up to standarduser/analyst?

I am assuming that they can still find the looks in folders as this will be controlled via groups (you may be inheriting roles through groups in which case you will need to ensure folders that contain these looks have also been managed to include these users new group).

Its most likely that the new role that the user has does not have access_data permission for the specific models used in the looks. This is a good page to have a read of: https://docs.looker.com/admin-options/tutorials/permissions#building_blocks_youll_need_to_understand
