Hey @rohit_shoppertr,

Do you mean load the csv as data in Looker rather than use a traditional database connection?

You could use Google sheets and connect that through a BigQuery connection as noted here: https://help.looker.com/hc/en-us/articles/360023860613-How-to-use-Google-Spreadsheets-to-Input-Data-...

Or, you could create a union via a derived table and create a temp table from the contents of the CSV. This article has more details on that process: https://help.looker.com/hc/en-us/articles/360023724114-Uploading-Spreadsheet-Excel-Google-Sheets-Dat...

Thanks,

Eric

Eric,

I am looking a non Google Spread sheet or BQ solution. I have just a simple csv sheet on my drive. I want to load it in Looker, how to do it?

Hi @rohit_shoppertr, there is no way to directly connect a CSV on your local machine right now. You would have to put it in a database and connect the database to Looker or use the derived table union method as listed above. You can submit a request for a feature to support this with our pendo feedback app
