Upgrade to latest Looker release

Hey, we are trying to upgrade our Customer/on-prem hosted looker instance version to latest release. And we are facing the below error while starting the looker on an instance.

“The --force-gcm-encryption flag can only be used on a new Looker install”

“--force-gcm-encryption flag was used but Legacy crypt canary exists”

Does anyone faced this issue? May I know how to resolve this?

there’s a breaking change that snuck into the startup scripts repo https://github.com/looker/customer-scripts/commit/b847e0ff9e6830cdc4185af5eb8d3a8ec663cca9

you can pin your automation to a specific ref if that helps ex: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/looker/customer-scripts/a22237d5bec6d792f4956d76c8604fc8766959a4/s...

the proper fix is probably to migrate to gcm encryption https://docs.looker.com/setup-and-management/on-prem-mgmt/migrating-encryption
