Correctness of Alerts

Hello everyone,

I have recently created a dashboard with a graph that shows how many chargebacks we are receiving each week. So obviously, in the current week, this number changes (increases) every day. Nevertheless, I set an alert that is supposed to alert me if within a day, the number of chargebacks increases by x.

Now, the problem is that I have received alerts saying that my chargebacks have been increasing by an amount that is above the threshold that I have set. So I immediately went to check the dashboard only to see that it did not actually increase by the amount that was mentioned in the email. It only changed by a number that is below the threshold.

Did I make a mistake when creating the graph or setting the alert?

Could you post screenshots of said graph (at the explore leve if possible) as well as your alert setup?
