Unable to add a user. Already exists

Hi all. I want to contract a Business starter with my single email address but when adding it, it says that the user already exists. I realised that I did create a google account with that email address and don’t know if deleting it I would be able to create the account in Workspace. Any idea about how to sort this out? Thanks a lot!

Is recovering that old account and upgrading it to a Workspace an option? If not, you will still need to get access in order to delete an account.
