Show password as you type when logging in

Hi,

I would really appreciate it if the pupils in our school were able to see their password as they type it when logging into their Chromebooks. These are shared devices used by pupils from age 5-13. For the younger children who are only beginning to recognise letters/numbers and children of all ages with literacy difficulties, it can be hard to know or remember what they have just typed if all they can see are dots in place of letters/numbers. This can be extrememly time consuming as it can take them a very long time to login to their Google accounts. It is not possible for a teacher to get around to 30+ children to login for them. If they could see what they were typing, they could edit it themselves and get it right!

Hello Anna,

On the righthand side of the password logon area should be an icon that looks like an eyeball. When the eyeball icon is clicked it allows the user to view the password characters instead of the dots.

Hi,

Unfortunately no eye appears next to this password unlike most other
logins. I have atta he'd a screenshot to show what appears.

Kind regards,
Anna.
