Google Workspace websites not being indexed

Hi,

    I have several websites that I have created using "New" sites but they will not authenticate in Google Search, even though the ownership has been verified via DNS records.

They do not show up in any web searches but are assessable via direct URL's or shortened URLs using Biyly.com

I have even tried a 3rd party product to build the required indexes but it fails on authentication as well

Disclaimer: not my forte however Google Search engine searches what is publicly available and it does search massive amount of information so to see if anything from the site shows you could always try the "site:" search filter into the search engine. Do note that Google Site does have to be set to "public on the web" and people can opt out of being shown per the Site help center. https://support.google.com/sites/answer/6372880 

Do you have access to Search Console (https://support.google.com/news/publisher-center/answer/9128668)? If so, that should be able to tell you if the sites are indexing or not.

Hi, all

Issue has been resolved via the Google Workspace support team.

Jerry was great 

We added "CNAME" records in my domain DNS file pointing the web sites to ghs.googlehosted.com.

and then created "custom URLS" in Admin console/APPS/SITES for each site

all seems to working okay now

Hi,

It appears your websites created with "New" websites  aren't authenticating in Google Search, despite DNS verification. Have you explored the troubleshooting options outlined in Google's Search Console?
