Deleted fields in google forms when clicking editable link

Hello!

I created a Google form with numerous sections. The form is available for edits, so a user can click an editable link and add information to the form.

The problem is that when the user clicks the form and navigates to the section they need to edit, all previous information in the section does not show up anymore. For some reason, the information was erased.

Is there a way to avoid erasing information when returning to an editable version of a Google form?

Are you referring to the quiz setting to allow a user to make edits to their answers? If so is it possible the user is clicking clear form in the lower right corner instead of clicking the back button in the lower left corner?
