As a Google Admin is there a way to monitor the application of labels to documents by your organisation's users? For example, to investigate whether certain users are not applying them.
Yes, the Drive Audit Logs include events about label application, removal, and mutation. These are available to Workspace Administrators in the Admin Console or through the Reports API:
The drive audit log doesn't show which label was actually applied. How do I see that information? We have badge labels enforced for users upon anything added to Drive. It works well but I cannot figure out how to see any reports on this.
The Drive logs do not include the label metadata unless the event type is a labeling operation (apply, modify, delete).
