How to give a service account access to the Drive API

I created a service account from Google Workspace admin account to communicate with Drive API for my internal system, but it reaches its upload limit like 15 GB, I thought it was using the same storage quota as my account, how do I I can do it? that obtains the same storage or permission to store.
